Music events

Fiddle Hell -27, 28, 29th of January 2012. Third Fiddle Hell in Bushey.
Fiddle Hell is an annual event held in different countries where violinists of all ages and experience get together for a weekend of fiddling - to share knowledge, make music and have fun.
For the third year running, Fiddle Hell will erupt again in Bushey hosted in the friendly atmosphere of the Horse and Chains. Professional players, amateurs and beginners mix with instrument makers and repairers amid a medley of music ranging from Irish Reels to Jazz and Klezmer to Classical!

Jazz violin at The Horse & Chains


On Sunday the 21st of August Jazz violinist Graham Clark with pianist Jonathon Gee
will entertain us for three hours starting at 3.00pm.
This will be a great afternoon of straight ahead jazz music and improvisation.

This is a regular monthly event...
Graham is back again on the 25th of September with a pianist of his choice, probably Jonathon Gee.
From 3.pm- 6.pm. Stick it in your diary.

 

The Music Session

The Music Session  is on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month

Our next session is on the 25th of Feb. from 7.30pm. This promises to be a great music session, with my friends from the Netherlands, Gerianne and Anton on violin and piano. Also Owen Griffiths and his father Eddie on guitars and mandolin. Heather Doran singer and guitarist. Chris Miller on Bass and Innis Bourne on percussion instruments. Chris, Jo and Bill on fiddles, flute, guitars, bass and mandolin. Jed on violin, mandolin and 5 string banjo. Ashley on fiddle, Molly on fiddle, Scot on keyboard and guitar. And there's more that I currently don't know of.
