To all our recent new members, hello, its great that a few more people have joinded recently, please share with us your likes and dislikes, and any interesting music gems ideas and questions you have! I am really interested in discovering novels, so any books, music etc that have made you tick, please recommend them.  Its a jungel out there, and if people on this site recommend something to read, listen to I would trust their opinions more than reviews from other sources!!!! I am not into following something because of a review, but if a friend, or someone with same interest.. which I imagine people here have similar ones, then for me that is as good or better a recommendation than anything.....!!!!

I will join it too.

Jed, do you know a Dutch violinmaker Anneke ter Horst who studied for three years in London in the workshop of someone who repaired 73 Stradivari instruments in his lifetime?
Perhaps you heard of her.
She examined my Cerin violin and will see the other violin next week.
She has an open mind, but she doesn't do appraisals.

More details will follow.

I have heard her name before but obviously a bit more since the Cerin. I would like to see her work, she cuts a fine bridge. Incidentally,
I went to college with a Dutch maker and I might try to find her. Hope she is still in the violin business. Here is a picture of me and her.
